Cloud printing: Print to your local library wherever, whenever
Use your mobile device, tablet or laptop to upload your documents to our Cloud Printing service, then collect your prints from your local library.
- A Library membership
- Your library card number and PIN
- A device that's connected to the internet
How to use Cloud Printing
1. On your device, visit falkirk.docprint.uk/upload/
2. Enter your library card number (username) and PIN
3. Choose the library where you want to collect your print
4. Find the document you want to print on your device and upload
5. Head to the library counter to collect
- Remember cash to pay for your prints as we don’t accept cards
- You’ll need your library card number
Need to know
- Documents print on A4 paper only
- It can take up to 10 minutes for a print to come through.
- Libraries will only print the document when you arrive at the counter and pay for your print.
- Prints will only remain on our system for 24 hours - you must collect within that time. Remember libraries are closed Wednesdays and Sundays.
- Libraries only accept cash - please be sure to bring the appropriate amount with you.
Document types accepted
The following document and file types can be printed:
- Microsoft Office documents and Open XML documents: Word (doc, docx), Excel (xls,xlsx), Powerpoint (ppt, pptx),
- Open Office/Libre Office documents: Writer (odt), Spreadsheet (ods), Presentation (odp), Drawing (odg)
- Picture files: jpg/jpeg, png
