Summary

Tasked by the government spy Fitzroy to return to the Stapleford's Highland Lodge, Rory, Bertram and Euphemia are less than keen. When Euphemia discovers for purposes of the charade she has been demoted back to a maid she is furious. Rory still isn't speaking to her and Bertram, frankly, doesn't have a clue what is going on. Merry, Euphemia's best friend and fellow maid, also joins them, but they are prohibited from telling her of the secret nature of the meeting.
