The Writing Rammy, Falkirk Libraries writing competition, is very much a free-for-all and is an opportunity to shout about all the talented people – of all ages – that live in the Falkirk area.
We’ve seen stories and poems across a wide range of genres, from very personal poetry to dark horror. For 2022 we expanded the format to include stories in comic book form and were rewarded with some stunning graphic entries.
We are hugely thankful to everyone who entered their stories and poems. We know that it is no small thing to put your words out there for others to read. This is the second year we’ve compiled an eBook of our favourite entries and we hope you enjoy the creativity on display. Perhaps you’ll be inspired to put pen to paper yourself… who knows, we may see YOUR entry in a future Writing Rammy eBook!
